Delighted to have my print, The Cleaners (after Millet), accepted for Worthing Museum and Art Gallery’s new exhibition OPEN26, on the theme of Sustainability. The exhibition opens on March 28th and runs until 21st June.

A wonderful day at the Royal Academy Varnishing Day – so pleasing to see my work Gilbert’s Pond hung alongside works by some wonderful artists including Cornelia Parker RA, Anna Fox, Paul Hart, Elina Brotherus and Helen Sear RA.

I am pleased to be taking part in three events at this year’s Brighton Photo Fringe 2024 festival:
Torz Dallison and I will be showing photographs along the theme Veiled, at The Makers’ Gallery, 71 High Street, Lewes, througout October.
Alongside Torz and four other friends who graduated from the Brighton MA Photography programme, I will also be participating in a group show as part of the Iris Collective. Iris’ latest work, Tableau, was selected for the Collectives Hub open call, and will be exhibited at the Phoenix Gallery in Brighton from the 5th until the 26th October. My own work in this exhibition shows an avenue of Yew trees at Newstead Abbey, the home of Lord Byron. The work comes from my Taxus series.
My final piece, Twelfth Hole, was made using a drone and shows a detail of a local golf course during last winter’s severe floods. This photograph addresses the topic of climate change and was selected for the Open Eco call exhibition, showing work on environmental themes. It will be shown on Brighton seafront.

I’m pleased to learn that this piece from my Taxus series has been accepted for the Open Call section of the 2024 Dark Peak Photo Festival. The festival will be on throughout the Derbyshire town of Glossop, from 19th to 25th February.

At Brighton Photo Fringe, from October 3rd to 31st, I will be showing work from two of my recent series.
My solo online exhibition will show ten works from my new series, The Ecchoing Green, looking at the 21st century village landscape in the context of the writings of William Blake.
At 23 Duke’s Lane, I will be exhibiting a print from my series, The Tears of Amphitrite, as part of a group show by the Iris Collective.

I was planning to show a selection of work from my series The Tears of Amphitrite at this group exhibition at the Socially Engaged Art Salon in Brighton. Sadly, this has now been postponed until later in 2020, due to the current COVID-19 outbreak.

This photograph of a starling murmuration at Brighton’s Palace Pier was taken whilst waiting for an evening event at the Fabrica gallery earlier in the month. A journalist friend picked it up from my Instagram feed and asked if he could use it; it was published today in The Sun, The Daily Express, The Daily Mail, The Daily Telegraph and The Metro:
